Overview: We are seeking an experienced API Integration Specialist to support the integration of an existing Time and Attendance Solution with various external software systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining APIs to ensure seamless data exchange between platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and implement API integrations between the Time and Attendance Solution and third-party systems (e.g., HR, payroll, ERP).
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand integration requirements and ensure accurate data flow.
· Maintain and optimize existing integrations for performance and scalability.
· Troubleshoot integration issues and provide technical support.
· Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards.
· Prepare technical documentation for all integration work.
Requirements:
· Proven experience in API development and system integration.
· Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON/XML data formats.
· Experience with Time and Attendance systems and/or HR/payroll solutions is highly advantageous.
· Proficient in at least one backend programming language (e.g., C#, Java, Python, Node.js).
· Experience with integration platforms, middleware, or API gateways is a plus.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
· Familiarity with authentication protocols such as OAuth2.
· Understanding of cloud-based environments and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
· Knowledge of database systems (SQL/NoSQL).
