Senior Project Manager (to lead the delivery of the technology)
1. Delivery leadership across the technical workstreams
The PM is accountable for ensuring all technology teams deliver their components effectively and cohesively.
- Lead the integrated delivery plan across all the technical areas.
- Ensure each Team Lead has clear milestones, scope boundaries, and quality expectations.
- Coordinate interdependencies among streams (e.g., environment readiness → build → testing → integration → data readiness → security).
- Identify blockers early and drive resolution or escalate through governance.
2. Environment setup oversight
PM ensures the Environment Lead delivers stable, compliant environments needed for build, testing, data migration, and integration.
- Environment strategy and provisioning timeline.
- Alignment with infrastructure, cloud, and platform teams.
- Monitoring environment stability, availability, and refresh cycles.
- Ensuring environment readiness is not a bottleneck for build or test cycles.
3. Solution build and test oversight
The PM ensures the solution build is executed according to design, and testing is properly planned, resourced, and governed.
- Ensure the Build Team Leads follows approved design and DA decisions. In the context of the Programme Nala, “build” relates to the Murex build, integration build, environment build, Cloud build, potential in-countries on prim build as well as the migration of data.
- Oversee SIT, UAT, regression test readiness and execution.
- Track defect lifecycle and ensure quality gates are met.
- Synchronize build/test timelines across countries and cross-functional teams.
4. Integrations oversight
Given the multi-systems landscape, integration delivery is high risk and requires strong PM control.
- Ensure integration specifications, mapping, and interface designs are completed on time.
- Coordinate with external systems (Treasury, GM platforms, Risk, Finance).
- Ensure integration environments and data are aligned with build/test phases.
- Manage dependency on enterprise teams (API, ESB, middleware, etc.).
5. Data migration oversight
The PM leads a structured migration plan aligned to Murex requirements and business teams.
- Ensure data extract/transform/load (ETL) cycles are defined and baselined.
- Oversee dry runs, reconciliation, and data validation cycles.
- Coordinate dependencies with source systems, central data teams, and country teams.
- Ensure data migration is synchronised with testing timelines.
6. Security and compliance oversight
The PM ensures security requirements are embedded from the start and remain aligned with Group standards.
- Coordinate with the Security Lead on access model, IAM, encryption, logging, and audit requirements.
- Ensure penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and control assessments are scheduled.
- Manage security sign‑offs and non‑functional requirements (NFRs).
- Track remediation of identified risks or control gaps.
7. Integrated planning, technical dependency management and reporting (Need to works with programme dependency manager)
- Work with all workstream leads to build an integrated IT plan.
- Take ownership of the integrated plan, include all technical dependencies and liaise with the Programme dependencies.
- Create and maintain the integrated technology delivery plan.
- Identify and agree with Programme Manager key workstreams milestones, project milestones and executive milestones.
- Report weekly progress via reporting mechanism in place to PMO.
- Ensure readiness for phased rollouts across 8 countries.
- Map critical path items across all streams.
- Manage cross-country and cross-workstreams technical dependencies.
8. Risk, issues and change control management
PM ensures risks and issues are proactively managed across all technical streams.
- Maintain a consolidated RAID log for the technology delivery domain.
- Escalate material risks to Programme Manager.
- Track and evaluate technical change requests.
- Ensure decisions are documented and communicated across workstreams and reported back to the programme.
9. Governance and reporting
- Provide weekly reporting on the technology streams.
- Facilitate technical governance forums (DA, technical deep dives, build/test readiness).
- Ensure Team Leads provide timely updates and adhere to programme standards.
- Prepare inputs for SteerCo where relevant.
10. Stakeholder engagement across technical and business Functions
- Coordinate with BA/PO/CM teams on requirements, testing, and release readiness.
- Manage relationships with Murex, third-party vendors.
Ensure technical streams provide inputs required by business workstreams (e.g., UAT cycles, country readiness).
