Senior Test Analysts will be required to enable Programme deliverables.
Test Strategy and Planning
Develop and maintain programme-level test strategies, test plans, schedules, approaches, entry and exit criteria, and testing governance processes.
Requirements Analysis
- Review business requirements, feature specifications, technical documentation, APIs, interfaces, and participant requirements to derive test conditions and scenarios.
Process documentation
- Develop new and enhance detailed process documentation, including flowcharts, diagrams, and narratives to clearly depict current operations.
- Review and distribute process documentation, ensure training on processes is in place and conducted with new entrants.
Test Case Design
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test cases, scenarios, scripts, test data requirements, and requirements traceability matrices ensuring end-to-end coverage. Integration Testing
- Coordinate and execute testing across QR+, Registry, participant systems, vendor platforms, sandbox environments, and external interfaces.
Defect Management
- Manage defect identification, logging, prioritization, triage, tracking, escalation, retesting, evidence, and closure. Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, architects, participant banks, vendors, programme teams, and testing teams.
User Acceptance Testing
- Coordinate and support UAT preparation, execution, reporting, defect management, business validation, and sign-off. Certification Testing
- Support participant certification, conformance testing, evidence management, and readiness assessment activities.
Risk Management
- Identify testing risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints; escalate appropriately and recommend practical mitigations. Environment and Test Data Management
- Coordinate environment readiness, test data availability, participant onboarding, endpoint validation, access, and technical dependencies.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure test activities, artefacts, and evidence align with programme governance, quality standards, scheme requirements, and industry obligations.
Experience
- Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in software testing and quality assurance environments.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience within banking, payments, financial services, fintech, or payment scheme environments.
- Demonstrated experience in functional, system integration, user acceptance, end-to-end, regression, certification, and conformance testing.
- Proven experience with API testing, web services, message-based integration testing, and data validation.
- Experience coordinating multiple third-party vendors, participant organizations, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience operating within regulated financial services environments.
- Strong defect management, test governance, quality assurance, and audit-evidence practices.
- Experience supporting Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification or an equivalent recognized software-testing certification is advantageous.
- Additional banking, payments, project delivery, Agile, or quality assurance certifications are beneficial.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and relevant test management or defect-tracking tools.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data reconciliation, and data-validation techniques.
- Experience with payment switching real-time payments, interoperable payment ecosystems, and certification testing is advantageous.
