We are seeking an experienced Cisco Support Engineer to provide comprehensive operational support and maintenance across LAN, WAN, Security, and Unified Communications (UC) environments.
Supported Infrastructure
The engineer will work across a broad Cisco technology stack, including:
- Cisco Unified Communication Manager (CUCM)
- Cisco Unified Contact Centre Express (UCCX)
- CUBE Gateways
- Attendance Console
- IP Phones & Headsets
- LAN Switches (Core, Service, Access & Optics)
- WAN Routers
- Wireless Access Points
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
- Cisco DNA Centre
- Telephony Management System (TMS)
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Level 1 & Level 2 Support – Provide day-to-day operational support across LAN/WAN, Security, and UC platforms, including:
System Health Checks:
- Cluster performance monitoring
- Alerts review and license utilisation tracking
Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
- Detailed incident analysis for major issues
Change Records:
- Documentation of configuration updates, version changes and software upgrades
Backup Verification Logs:
- Confirmation and testing of system backups and restore operations
Capacity Reporting:
- Usage trend analysis and recommendations
Incident Management:
- Fault resolution and escalation handling
System Backups:
- Backups (UC, LAN, WAN & Security)
- Backups are stored in the client’s VM and storage environment.
Incident Logging:
- All incidents (P1–P4) must be logged via the designated call-logging system by L1/L2 engineers.
Required Certifications:
- CCNP ENCOR – Enterprise Network Core Technologies
- CLCOR – Implementing & Operating Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies
- ENSDWI – Implementing Cisco SD-WAN Solutions
- SISE – Implementing & Configuring Cisco Identity Services Engineer
