- Purpose of this role: Providing support of Linux based operating system, scheduling and associated utilities & management software.
- 5+ years of experience in Linux based operating systems
- System setup and management of Linux servers
- Implementation, installation, configuration and testing of system software
- Patching/upgrades (OS/Application) via foreman (Katello), AWS system manager, Ansible and manually)
- 2+ years of experience in Docker or Kubernetes
- 5+ years of experience in VM cluster environment
- Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, MySQL and NoSQL
- A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl and/or Ruby)
- SAN/NAS, GlusterFS or any distributed file systems
- Experience with web service architecture and servers
- Understanding of Cloud technologies (AWS and Azure)
- Experience with PFSense Firewall and IPtables
- Experience with HAproxy and other load balancing technologies
- Experience with REST and SOAP API’s
- Excellent knowledge of appropriate network technologies and network applications such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN setup
Qualification and Experience:
- Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certificate
- 5 years work experience of providing Linux support
