About the job
This role requires someone who will be able to analyse requirements from business, create testing stories and all related artefacts (RTM, Test summary report, Defect summary report), raise risks, identify opportunities for test automation, create tests scripts, report back on the effort saved whilst adhering to stringent QA Chapter testing standards.
The incumbent need to be able to demonstrate the following:
- Should have an understanding of the testing terminologies.
- Have thorough understanding of Agile terminologies and methodologies.
Needs to have experience in:
- 4 years of testing experience
- API, Sanity and integration testing.
- Functional and smoke testing.
- QA testing CICD pipeline.
- Extracting test requirements from user stories or Business requirements document.
- Extracting test scenarios from User stories or Business requirements document.
- Extracting test cases from User stories or Business requirements document.
- Designing test cases.
- Capturing test cases on the test management tools.
- Executing test cases manually.
- Preparing test report.
- SQL and data extraction.
- Capturing defects on the test management tools.
- Tracking defects.
- Preparing QA testing signoff report.
- Identifying test cases that should be automated.
- Test data and plan preparation.
- Knowledge of various automation testing tools.
- Some understanding of test automation.
- Candidates must be able to work independently.
- Be able to communicate clearly at all levels.
- Be skilled in analytical thinking, solid decision making and problem solving.
- Sales Force testing experience will provide an added advantage.
