Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Business Analyst with a strong background in investment banking, preferably within the asset management space. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a recognized Business Analysis certification. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing data, defining business requirements, and working closely with stakeholders to drive successful projects and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements, objectives, and processes.
- Analyse data, conduct feasibility studies, and assess the impact of proposed changes on business operations.
- Create comprehensive business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement documents (FRDs).
- Identify and recommend process improvements and solutions to enhance business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in project planning, scope definition, and timeline development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to bridge communication gaps.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business requirements.
- Provide ongoing support for post-implementation activities, including issue resolution and user training.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with some in the investment banking industry.
- Prior experience in asset management is highly preferred.
- Recognized Business Analysis certification is required.
- Strong understanding of investment banking processes and asset management industry best practices will be adventageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team, handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
