Purpose of the Job: The overall purpose of the role is to Build Configurable solutions on Compass, Test the solution and write functional specifications for this solution
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a configurable solution on Compass based on business requirements
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions with project management
- Facilitates/participates in design review sessions
- Training of users and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Investigate system problems and correct them
- Creating functional and technical specifications
- Provide technical support to business users
- Review test plans and the test book for each project release before User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Conduct systems testing to ensure that the design was aligned and designed according to the technology business requirement specifications
- Provide support for system testing
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs
Qualifications:
- A minimum of Matric
- Formal Business Analysis qualification
- Min 5 years’ experience of business requirements analysis
Experience:
- Compass configuration at least 3-5 years
- Experience in the insurance industry non negotiable
Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of AGILE
- Oracle SQL will be an advantage
