We are looking for a seasoned SQL DBA to work at a client site, ensuring the day-to-day availability of their SQL Databases and taking care of upgrades, backups, security and performance tuning of the databases. The ideal candidate will have:
– Min 4 years’ experience as a SQL DBA
– Stable track record on SQL, T-SQL, MSSQL (2000, 2005, 2008 R2,2012,2014,2016)
– SSIS, SSRS and Analysis Services experience
Qualifications and certifications required:
Matric/Grade 12 – required
MCDBA or MCITP – advantageous

Skills Required
– Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, MSSQL and T-SQL
– Knowledge of SSRS / SSIS / SSAS / Replication
– Database backup and recovery
– Scripting experience
– Solid working knowledge of Windows operating system
– Good understanding of networks
– Solid understanding of database design and architecture
– Excellent verbal and written skills
